Michelle Jessica Lynn
Michelle Lynn received her J.D. from Cornell Law School in 2011. While attending law school, Michelle served as a General Editor for the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy, one of the leading public policy journals in the nation. Most notably, Michelle prevailed in a writing competition to become an Associate at the Legal Information Institute’s Supreme Court Bulletin. There, Michelle wrote previews of upcoming U.S. Supreme Court cases, analyzing the parties’ arguments and the implications the case may have on the law and society. In addition, Michelle participated in the Cornell Paris Summer Institute for International and Comparative Law in 2009.
In 2008, Michelle graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in political science, a minor in African studies, and a concentration in international relations. During her undergraduate years, Michelle was active in the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Honor Society, the Model African Union, and spent a summer interning for the Political Section of the U.S. State Department in Dakar, Senegal. Also, Michelle spent significant time studying overseas in Italy and France.
Before joining RiesbergLaw, Michelle served as a full-time intern for the Federal Trade Commission in New York City, spent a summer interning at the State of New York Office of the Attorney General, and spent a summer as a judicial intern for the Honorable Louis B. York.
